Toward a society where individuality shines,
and everyone can live as their true selves
This is the official site of ELLY, who is active in diverse fields as an author and artist.
Here you will find the Pearl Blue Ribbon campaign, developed with international models and artists to deepen understanding of physical challenges including severe hyperhidrosis, as well as messages shared through media, writing and creative work.
Beyond your past self.
I want to create jobs and spaces where people who have struggled to work due to hyperhidrosis can participate at their own pace, without pushing themselves too hard.
Hyperhidrosis is hard to see and hard to understand. Because of this, it has narrowed life's choices for many. That is why, as someone who has experienced the same struggles, I aim not for a society where workers must endure, but for a way of working designed around individual characteristics.
Rather than focusing on numbers or form, I want to gradually increase jobs where each person's life is protected and they can feel 'it's okay to be here.'
I believe there are jobs, such as editing, planning and expression through creative work and communication, that people living with hyperhidrosis may be particularly suited to.

About ELLY
Living with Hyperhidrosis
ELLY has struggled since childhood with excessive sweating on her head and face. Everyday activities like 'working' and 'being in public,' which most people take for granted, always came with invisible constraints for her.
Hyperhidrosis actually takes away life's choices.
Sweat is visible, yet the suffering, tension, and fear are hardly understood. It's not uncommon for people to dismiss it as 'overthinking' or 'a matter of effort.' Even after entering society, ELLY continued to face the reality of working alongside this condition.
There were times when she avoided going out and in-person work, pushed herself too hard, and unknowingly closed off many possibilities.
While raising awareness of hyperhidrosis on social media, I encountered people quietly forced to give up simply because of this condition. It was then that I realized: “The world of hyperhidrosis is built on the sacrifices people make by enduring it.”
Through my activities, I always hope to help many people understand the deeper realities of living with hyperhidrosis.
My efforts may be modest, but I will continue them for many years to come.
